Data coverage and sources

Explore land and electricity infrastructure in New South Wales

Choose heavy industrial land, data centres or transmission lines, then filter by distance to either of the other two types. Geographic proximity helps narrow a search; it does not establish an electrical connection, available capacity or land ownership.

The NSW pilot combines Geoscience Australia electricity infrastructure, NSW mining titles, National Pollutant Inventory facilities and earlier data-centre research. The data-centre snapshot is dated 21 October 2026. Other imports were captured on 26 October 2026; underlying source dates vary. Another 14 data-centre records do not yet have map coordinates. The compilation may contain duplicates and has not been independently reverified.

Mining titles establish mineral rights, rather than surface ownership. Facility points do not establish parcel boundaries or industrial zoning. Use each record’s source and date when checking the evidence.
