Battery management system module
A BMS module performs the selected battery monitoring and control interface functions.
In plain English
A battery management system monitors the cells in a battery and controls whether charging and discharging are allowed. It helps keep the cells within their operating limits.
In a microgrid battery rack, the management system can request that charging stops if a cell becomes too hot.
Use the selected manufacturer's drawings to check the equipment's size, mounting points and cable connections. The layout helps you plan where it fits and how it can be reached for maintenance. An illustrative 3D preview does not establish product dimensions or required clearances.
