Connector changing wire identity

This form identifies a connector representation that allows wire-number identities to change across the interface. The two sides retain their separate wire identifiers while the connector pin mapping shows how they connect. That numbering rule does not create a conversion or an isolated electrical function.

A distinction that matters

A change in wire number does not by itself indicate electrical isolation, conversion or a change in voltage.

Terminal connection

A terminal representation identifies a connection point for conductors. The terminal number and strip or assembly identifier link the schematic to physical wiring documentation. A wire number and terminal number identify different things and should not be substituted for one another.

A distinction that matters

An electrical junction and a physical terminal are different concepts. A connection dot alone does not necessarily identify a terminal block.
