Names and aliases are search terms attached to records. Alternative spellings, file orientations and duplicate archive files are not counted as additional equipment or symbol concepts.
Subject coverage
ANSI/IEEE device functions
94 base device-function numbers have entries, alongside 61 suffix or application-specific function references. Historical functions are included where they help interpret legacy drawings. Suffix meanings follow the cited manufacturer or application; they are not universal equipment identities.
Numbers 95–99 are application-specific assignments in the public reference tables used here. Their meaning must come from the particular drawing legend or scheme documentation. Reserved or unverified assignments are not filled with invented definitions.
IEC and ANSI/IEEE graphical forms
654 symbol references include 149 explicitly identified IEC-oriented forms and 116 explicitly identified ANSI/IEEE forms. Other symbol records explain general concepts without assigning a specific graphical convention. Convention counts are subsets of the symbol total, not additional records.

ANSI/IEEE graphic-symbol standards 315 and 315A are listed as Inactive-Reserved by IEEE. Device-function numbers belong to a separate reference family. Public vendor block identifiers are explicitly labelled as vendor identifiers, not IEC standard symbol codes.
Entries use public references to explain relevant diagram concepts. Original illustrations are educational representations and have not been certified against an exact IEC or IEEE graphical-symbol identifier. This site does not reproduce the complete licensed IEC standards database. Electronic components, logic, installation and communication references broaden the drafting scope. Coverage is not claimed to be exhaustive against every IEC or ANSI/IEEE symbol record. Rotations and alternative filenames are not used to inflate the symbol count.

Manufacturer CAD file listings
The separate file directory lists 6,095 public CAD files or archive members from 8 publishers, supported by 327 original download URLs. These are filenames and source links, not a count of distinct technical concepts, verified product models or certified standard symbols.
No CAD bytes are rehosted. A member of a ZIP archive links to the original publisher archive and identifies the relative filename to locate inside it. Select the exact product, revision, format and access conditions at the source.
GA equipment and manufacturer records
Generic GA entries describe equipment envelopes and interfaces to coordinate. Named equipment records identify the manufacturer family or model documented by the public source. Product-specific dimensions, ratings, accessories and CAD formats must be confirmed for the selected configuration and region.
Downloaded educational SVG/DXF files contain original concept geometry, not manufacturer footprints. Official manufacturer CAD remains at the linked source. A source portal, archive file count or multiple file formats is not counted as multiple verified equipment models.
Confidentiality and review
Customer drawings, proprietary block libraries and app uploads are not inputs to public exports. Every published record uses independent public references. Automated validation checks the schema, reference links, known confidential identifiers and declared provenance. Engineering approval and redistribution rights require their own review.
