Terminal connection
An identified electrical connection point linking schematic and wiring information.
A twisted-pair indication identifies the documented association of two conductors as a twisted pair.
Autodesk IEC-60617 Symbol Preview — Cable identification and twisted-pair annotation; vendor family reference, not certified IEC geometry or database identifier.
Shown as an independently authored educational illustration. Use the cited publication and drawing legend to verify the required drafting form.
A twisted-pair indication identifies the documented association of two conductors as a twisted pair. The pair association matters to conductor identification and termination, even when the two wires are drawn apart elsewhere. It does not by itself describe the cable screen or its termination.
Preserve pair numbers and polarity through connector and terminal schedules. If a screen is required, draw and document that interface separately.
Twisting and shielding are different cable attributes; a twist indication does not prove a screen is present.
