Power converter / inverter
An identified interface converting electrical power between documented circuit forms.
This qualifier identifies opposite-direction propagation occurring alternately.
Autodesk IEC-60617 Symbol Preview — Propagation and signal-flow qualifiers; vendor family reference, not certified IEC geometry or database identifier.
Shown as an independently authored educational illustration. Use the cited publication and drawing legend to verify the required drafting form.
This qualifier identifies opposite-direction propagation occurring alternately. The two directions are used at different times, making the temporal relationship different from simultaneous two-way propagation. The underlying link can still appear as a single path.
Record which functions send and receive and how the documented operation changes direction. Do not interpret the qualifier as two independent physical cables.
Alternating bidirectional propagation differs from simultaneous bidirectional transmission.
